Nile Jordan vocals guitar & keyboard

I started in the music industry at the very tender age of 13 playing guitar in Sefton Youth Jazz Orchestra, being noticed then by a famous trumpeter named Digby Fairweather, who gave me the honour of playing along side him and his partner Stan Barker on the theatre circuit in the Northwest.

When I was 15 I played with my parents in a family band touring the holiday camps and club land in and around the Merseyside and Lancashire area, but this time I also gave backing vocals.

Being the youngest to get accepted into Liverpool Music College at the age of 16, I gained a wealth of knowledge not only in theory but practical experience. This opened the door for me to sing and play with lots of Liverpool bands as a stand-in session singer/musician.

A few years back, after making contacts overseas in Northern Ontario, I travelled to Canada for 9 months touring with a company and getting to meet the likes of Lone Star and Brian White, who performed with Shania Twain.

After touring cabaret clubs as a guitar vocalist for the last 6 years – covering an array of styles, from Elvis Presley to Boyzone – I recently caught the attention of Radio Merseyside’s Billy Butler and Norman Thomas who, through public demand, interviewed me, talking and reviewing my new cd featuring the song ‘If you’re not the one’ with a dynamic and challenging main vocal complemented by an ultra high harmony.

Over the years I have taken acting roles in TV, the latest being in ‘Nice Guy Eddy’ featuring Ricky Tomlinson.

Liverpool & Everton Football Clubs, P&O Cruises, Thomson Platinum & First Choice Holidays, BBC, Radisson Group, RAF, Armed Forces, Arrevia, Leos Casino, Stanleys, Haven, Private functions, I.e. Weddings e.t.c.
Norman Thomas & Bobby Socks (Radio Merseyside) – Nile has an amazing voice which draws you in to his every performance. ëBest voice Iíve heard in yearsí!!

RAF Shawbury – Nile made our night with his big voice and personality, thanks alot!!!

LOVE PRESTON (charity ball) – Thank you once again for your truly crowd-pleasing performance at our fund raiser. It was fantastic, and really gave the night what it needed!! I have lost count of the positive responses I have had from people about you, thanks!!

Manchester South Interact (Company dinner) I was really pleased with the way the evening went. I always think the proof is in filling the dance floor and you certainly did that. I thought your choice of songs was great and there were some notes in there that I couldn’t believe you pulled off so well! Thanks, Andrea!!

The Stage Review:
Guitar vocalist Nile Jordan, in contrast, was ëup for ití musically from the first
note he hit. Unsurprisingly, given his confident presentation and cocky banter,
his biography states that heís had a few acting roles in the past and consequently
looks a complete performer. There was certainly something of the party animal about
him as he ripped through a punchy medley covering the likes of Roy Orbison and The
Beatles. A fine, toe-tapping set which made a good few people look up from their basket
meals and tap the odd chicken leg on their plates.
