Gabrielle Zanobini jazz pop musicals and soul

Gabrielle Zanobini has been singing since the age of ten, participating in school shows, college shows and university shows. Gaining lead roles in musicals such as ‘Sandy’ in Grease, ‘Roxie Hart’ in Chicago, ‘Penny Pingleton’ in Hairspray, ‘Belle’ in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Princess Jasmine’ in Aladdin, ‘Blousey Brown’ in Bugsy Malone and ‘Julie’ in London Road, Gabrielle has had a lot of experience and variety of styles of singing over the past 11 years. As well as singing, Gabrielle has also done lots of acting work, such as extra work on ‘Hollyoaks’, gaining Distinctions for all LAMDA ‘Verse and prose’ exams, acting classes and various lead roles in plays. Since graduating University with a ‘first class honours’ Music Theatre degree, Gabrielle has decided she would like to move away from Musical Theatre and expand her singing genre, experimenting in jazz, pop, rock and soul music and gigging around the country and has found this to be her passion. She has recently started singing around the country, whilst writing her own music, learning to play the guitar and piano to hopefully, one day embellish her music even more. Gabrielle’s voice has even been described to her as ‘like eating a gooey dark chocolate pudding in a sultry jazz bar at 2am!
